Step out of Survival Mode (S.O.S.) A science-backed sanctuary for smart, midlife women stuck at the intersection of burnout and perimenopause.

Real Talk:
You're not lazy. You're not broken.

You're just burned out–and your hormones aren't helping.

If you’re a woman 35 to 60s

Trying to juggle it all—career, caregiving, relationships, responsibilities—while your body and brain feel like they’re rebelling… you're not alone.

And you’re definitely not crazy (although it certainly might feel that way!).

you might be:

Snapping at people you love, then crying in the car.

Lying awake at 3 AM with racing thoughts and aching joints.

Wondering where your libido, memory, and waistline went.

Feeling invisible, exhausted, unsupported—and so very done.

Step out of survival mode

You used to handle everything. Now even the little things feel heavy.

Your life on the outside might look put together—but on the inside, it’s a different story.

You’re juggling work, caregiving, relationships, and responsibilities.

Your hormones are all over the place.

You’re exhausted, anxious, irritable, and so over it.

And you’re asking yourself:
“Why can’t I just keep up like I used to?”

welcome to  perimenopause and burnout

where overwhelm meets hormone havoc in the most unfair way possible.

This isn't just stress

This is burnout + perimenopause–a double whammy with zero instruction manual.
It's time to step out of survival mode.

it's time to join S.O.S.!

A Judgement-Free, No-Drama Supportive Community

A private group of women like you: brilliant, burned out, and ready for a breakthrough

If you're thinking, is this for moe?

Yes, its for you if...

You’re a high-functioning, heart-driven woman who feels like you might be succeeding on the outside, but falling apart on the inside

You’re in perimenopause, post-menopause, or wondering WTF is going on

You’re the emotional anchor in everyone else’s life—and now you're running on fumes

You want support, clarity, and relief—not more things on your to-do list

You want guidance that’s smart, realistic, and science-backed

You’re craving connection with women who see you, hear you, and lift you up

You’re done being invisible. You’re ready to rise.

It’s not you. It’s your nervous system.
(And your hormones.)

Burnout isn’t a mindset problem—it’s a mind-body overload. And the hormone roller coaster of perimenopause along with life’s real challenges creates the perfect storm.
Your nervous system is dysregulated. Your hormones are out of sync. Your plate is overflowing. And generic advice like “try yoga” or “eat less, move more” doesn’t cut it.

heal the root causes

rebuild your reserves

reclaim your identity

say yes to support

Why this works

S.O.S. gives you the roadmap, tools, and community support to:

Harvard-educated physician. Burnout survivor. Truth-teller. Nervous system whisperer.

Meet Dr. Zarya Rubin

Hi, I’m Dr. Zarya — and I’m not just the founder of this community…I’m also a card-carrying member of the burnout and perimenopause club.

As a functional medicine doctor, TEDx speaker, and graduate of Harvard, Columbia, and McGill, I’ve spent decades studying the brain, body, and biochemistry. But it wasn’t until my own body broke down—in the middle of perimenopause and parenting a neurodivergent child—that I truly understood what it means to hit rock bottom in midlife.

I’ve felt the brain fog, the bone-deep exhaustion, the identity crisis. Autoimmune disease. Weight gain.

Everything hurts and nothing works. I’ve also struggled with anxiety and PTSD.

I’ve definitely lived the silent (or not-so-silent) scream of “I can’t do this anymore!!!”

And I refused to accept that “this is just what midlife looks like.”

So I dug deep. I used every tool in my functional medicine arsenal. I researched. I experimented. I healed. And I created the exact community I wish had existed when I was in survival mode.

Tell me more

Why am I the best person to lead this community?

Because I blend:
  •  Cutting-edge science (from decades of medical training)
  •  Lived experience (as a woman, mother, survivor, and healer)
  • Radical honesty + compassion (no fluff, no judgment, no toxic positivity)
  • Humor - because although this is serious business, I truly believe that laughter can heal us when things feel heavy

I believe that midlife is not the beginning of the end. It’s an unraveling, sure, a “wreck-oning” but it’s also the beginning of becoming who you truly are and were meant to be.

And you don’t have to do it alone.

let's walk the path together

toward clarity, vitality, and unapologetic joy.

With love and fire,

Dr. Zarya
